Kuwait - A U.S. Marine Corps scout sniper team from 3rd Battalion 1st Marines, assigned to Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force - Crisis Response - Central Command, engage targets with an M110 Semi-Automatic Sniper System during a precision marksmanship range in Kuwait, Dec. 17, 2020. Scout snipers are trained and equipped to conduct long-range surveillance and target acquisition in support of infantry battalion operations. The SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a crisis response force, prepared to deploy a variety of capabilities across the region.
